Brilliant company. I now consider Greg, my customer service rep, a great friend thanks to his helpfulness, kindness and care, as well as the time we spent together on this. Their staff is very professional and useful, accessible and paid out my claim very fast. They also have an excellent phone number for customer service outside business hours. Claim process is done in a very good time. Premiums payment is done in less than 50 seconds. Delighted Allstate customer and will remain one!

I would like to thank Robert from Allstate for helping me out in hard times. Two months ago my car got in to an accident with a drunk driver. The situation was so messed up and I didn't really know what to do first since there was a lot to do and Allstate's claim filing process was so easy and smooth and took less time than it took the police officer to write down the report for the accident. The representative was so helpful and thoughtful and very caring. Throughout damage assessment, he even served us some warm drinks and snacks in addition to a balloon to my daughter. Thank you Allstate for making us feel warm and good in an unpleasant event!

Never seen such a fast service from an insurance company. I went through a car accident which wasn't my fault. The other driver's insurance company made me a hard life getting my money for my car's total loss. When Allstate took over the claim I got my money within 5 business days and everything got back in their right place. Great company to have on your side!

Allstate auto insurance is simply the best auto insurance! Their customer service is excellent. Their auto insurance plans are very affordable yet gives you an excellent coverage. Their application allows you to check out their plans relatively easy as well. Don't think twice..

Allstate clients should check their coverage regularly, to be sure they are in fact covered at all times. Recently I got an email from Allstate saying my insurance policy got canceled and my home is no longer covered by them. This was during Labor Day weekend so I could’t make the call after hours, so my house was not covered for four day. If something would have happened I could have lost my home with no insurance to cover it! I contacted my agent first thing and she said it was a glitch in the system that canceled my homeowners insurance coverage. I cannot afford a sub par insurance policy that is not able to recover a glitch and fix it immediately. I left them and found better coverage options with a different insurance company. Be aware of your coverage policy, if you stay with All-glitch insurance company, you’re in good hands. As long as the system does not glitch…

Allstate is a terrible company! Their employees are so nasty and rude. One of Allstate's customers hit me and my family (I’m also pregnant). My children got injured with swollen faces, bleeding.. Allstate denied our claim saying it was our words against their client’s… My vehicle got totalled just when we finished paying it off.. I had to file a claim with My insurance Geico to get payments for the totalled car and for the rental. Allstate also told my family that they need to file a claim against my own insurance, for their medical expenses, injuries, pain and suffering.. I would NEVER recommend this insurance company to anyone. They rip you off after you get hit by their customers and even IF they do pay, it’s usually only a bit over $1,000 each person, when it’s their client who was at fault. My cousin also got hit by someone who was insured with Allstate and was at fault for the accident. They denied her claim and now she’s fighting them back using a lawyer, three years and counting… My family and I hired a lawyer and I will make sure that Allstate pay us back every single dime. They are terrible. Someone should shut this company down for good!!!

I honestly wish I could read all these reviews ahead of buying an insurance policy with this company.. I definitely agree with everybody that complained about them being a rip off experts. That is most certainly the case. I was driving my Ford Explorer on IH37 at 75mph, when suddenly a deer skipped over two lanes and hit my car. The estimated damage was over $17,000, with 3 airbags deployed. Despite all this, Allstate did not total my vehicle. Instead, they got used parts to lower their cost of repairs. This required even more time that took more than our insurance policy’s 30 days rental. We ended up having to pay extra from our own pocket an additional $485 for a rental car! My husband, 100% disabled Veteran, was not able to use his wheelchair for at least two months, that is because we had to wait until they had another 2017 Explorer involved in an accident, so they can save money on used parts!!!

My daughter had a car accident in a parking lot with someone who was insured by Allstate Insurance company. The other person, a young girl, took a turn into the parking lot, whipped around through the parking spaces and as she was coming down the lane between the parking spaces, she hit my daughter. Allstate Insurance’s claims department took statements from both girls. The statements were pretty much identical, except the other girl said my daughter was driving too far on the left side and wouldn’t get hit if she was driving more to the right side. Due to that statement, we were told our car would not be covered. Hold on, this is where it gets interesting… One of my daughter’s coworkers saw the whole thing and gave Allstate a statement, matching to the one my daughter did, except for one detail - the coworker witnessed the accident from her car and my daughter mistakenly thought she had seen it through the office window. Because of this detail and the fact that the witness and my daughter were working together, they kept declining the claim. So technically speaking, if you are buy insurance with Allstate I suppose you can drift and do donuts in the parking lot and get away with it, as long as you tell them that the car behind you was too close to the left side of the lane…

A terrible company to deal with!!! To my personal opinion and experience, Allstate uses those cute marketing advertisements to lure their clients in. For many years I was “in good hands” and paid all those high premiums on a monthly premiums, but the second I filed a claim, the same “good hands” turned into “boxing gloves”! After five and a half years (yes, 5 and a half years!) and Allstate still have not paid my medical expenses and they have yet to settle my claim under the Uninsured Motorist coverage that I PAID FOR or the benefits that I ENTITLED TO AND DESERVE. Allstate’s former adjusters have admitted to the public that they were instructed to delay and deny. There is no reasoning with this company. My BMW X5 got totalled by a driver with no coverage. I suffered physical injuries and a lot of pain, until this day. Not to mention the major change in my lifestyle. Luckily, my doctors kept documents of all my medical records. I have many emails sent from Allstate adjusters that verify all the lies. The adjuster from Allstate didn’t even bother to show up to our mediation, ordered by court.. I ended up hiring two lawyers and we are expecting to meet with Allstate in court next month. I plan to share my BAD experience with Allstate on all the social media channels I can, and have my friends share it with others too. I also intend to write a complaint and reviews to the State Department of Insurance, BBB, State Regulators, Consumer Affairs.com, National Association of Ins. Co., Google Reviews, Clearsurance, Wallethub and many others. My personal goal is to expose Allstate for what they do, share my terrible on-going experience and leave people to make their own decisions if choosing to buy insurance from this company is worth the ride. This was my first auto insurance claim, ever!! I was from from “good hands” with Allstate. I despise it for the way they treat others, like they treat me. I keep hearing about more and more other similar stories from people. This is very upsetting. Bad Faith Lawsuits should be filed against this insurance company for the way they handle claims. They must be punished for their unethical and the foul ways they use to conduct business and treat their customers.

Today I called an Allstate agent to cancel my homeowners insurance policy, and that’s after I already cancelled my car insurance with them too. I was welcomed by a rude treatment by the hands of the agent. At some point I even asked the lady why she is being so hostile. Almost like she was taking this personally. I had to cancel after I found another company that had the exact same coverage that Allstate gave me, but for HALF THE PRICE! After my personal experience with this insurance company, I am NEVER going back to Allstate again. Even if they came back to offer me better rates, they have lost me as a client forever.. Shop around, guys.. I’ve done my homework and believe me when I say this - Allstate rates are one of the highest, even for car insurance. Oh, and if you don end up buying car insurance from Allstate, be sure to ask if the policy they sell you offers the Accident Forgiveness that they keep mentioning in their advertisements. Until I had a little car accident, I had no idea that you need to request a policy that includes Accident Forgiveness! Man, was I unpleasantly surprised when my insurance went up by 32% because of that minor accident. That’s when I was told “you don’t have the policy that offered Accident Forgiveness”!

I was an Allstate customer for the past two and a half years. I got into an accident that exceeded the other person’s insurance policy limits. My attorney filed for my Um policy and I was denied and forced to take a loss after medical and attorney fees as well as time off from work.. Turns out I Was paying for 2 and a half years extra money for nothing... Once I found out, I stopped being an insurance customer with Allstate and my advise to you is to never get involved with them. If you are a customer, I suggest you do the same as I did, because trust me - you are not in good hands.

I was involved in an accident which was not my fault, with another person who was covered by Allstate. It has been 8 days since the accident and I’m still waiting to receive a rental.... I have 3 children in school and work full time. Because of this accident I have no car to use and when asked Allstate to rush the process, their response was “nothing I can do”… and “we scheduled to contact the insured client to verify liability, tomorrow”. WHY????? Why was it only scheduled for nine days after the actual accident?? I have a police report and proof that I was not responsible for causing this accident and their insured was issued a citation… This is exactly why people hard working people fall behind on finances. This whole situation has got my life in a real conflict and it was not my fault!!! Your insured client pays you to sort out these kind of situations. All insurance companies are paid exactly for dealing with situations like this. This is just absurd. I have been through a car accident before that was not my faulted the other person’s insurance company provided me with a rental in only two days, so I know it’s possible… I strongly recommend any insurance company other than Allstate. You are not in good hands with them. Well, maybe if you are at fault of the accident, since they will drag the process out for you…

I experienced the worst customer service in my whole life with a representative trying to get a quote. I mean, seriously! I was trying to buy insurance policy for the first time with them. The rep started asking me all these personal questions and wanted VIN numbers for the vehicles. When I explained that all I wanted was a price quote for home insurance he responded with “I can’t proceed without VIN numbers for the cars!” Even my 5 year old thought that was stupid! Good job Allstate, you have lost me as a client. Me and the large community I was going to refer.

I was involved in a car crash that happened not by my fault. The hitting driver was insured by Allstate. My crashed car got picked up and I was given a reservation number for a rental which really did not help me and my family, as I was put on a waiting list for the rental car. We ended up having no car for 4 days and used Lyft to move around. That was very difficult to us, no to mention the additional expenses. I got a text message from Allstate stating that I should receive a check within 3 to 5 days. A week went by, no check arrived. I called Allstate, no one could tell me anything about neither the text message nor the missing check! Finally I talked to my claims rep. She told me that Allstate did not send the text. Then said it was a mistake and that this is what they paid for the car rental. Thank you Allstate for all the inconveniences of having no car for 4 days which forced us to spend even more money on other transportation solutions. I do feel that I deserve to receive the check with the amount of money that Allstate sent me in the text message.

I paid for roadside assistance for months and the first time I tried to use it I never received a towing service. Hours later, after being told that Allstate couldn’t get a tow truck for me, I was asked to find one myself. At the time I was not able to pay for the towing service… I thought having roadside assistance meant I would not end up stranded. It was 20 degrees outside so stranded and freezing is exactly what I was. The following day I was forced to fix my car in UNO’s Pizzeria parking lot. Allstate had no answers to me, as for the reasons for this to happen. Allstate only pays $125 for towing so if you are out of balance, you are in deep trouble. My understanding was that paying for roadside assistance was to save me from being stranded and unfortunately that is what Allstate gets you to believe while they sell you their service (or the lack of it…)

They stop caring about you as soon as you cancel your policy. I have been with Allstate for 4 years and their renewal quotes were not to my liking, So I decided to shop around and cancelled my policy renewal 21 days before it was due. They charged me for new auto and home policies anyways. They were supposed to refund my money within 14 days, but I have yet to get it back … In the past 21 days I have been receiving false information, very bad customer service and they even shut down my app long before my end date, so I had no access to my policy. Basically I paid for customer service and they just shut it down because that’s what they felt like doing. I am very disappointed and feeling too weak to stand up to them and claim my rights, because as customers, we have no power or protection against big companies like this one.

Allstate is the worst company to deal with, if you have had any accident. They would let their clients simply get sued, ask any attorney they would tell you the same. I got hit sitting in a red light. There was no dispute or even a slight doubt as to whose fault it was. Allstate did not want to pay for any of the medical expenses and offered me $600 as a settlement for my pain and suffering and loss of income while my out of pocket expenses were much higher than that. Only my dental bill was $1,100 thanks to a cracked tooth…

I just got a phone call today from an Allstate rep who wanted to give me a quote. I have been with Farmers for the past 30 years and I am still with them today and I thought to myself “well, maybe it is time to shop around and take the lower price”, but the quote I received wasn't tempting enough given the majority of the customer reviews here, I think I’ll stick with Farmers.

Really bad customer service! On December 20th, 2019 I had a car accident and until today - January 26th 2020, I am still waiting for Allstate to resolve my claim. They say that they keep having issues with the collision centre where my car is parked, after the accident. Meanwhile I’m paying the price because for their dispute. By the way, their claim adjusters are the worst. 99% of the time when you call them, their phones goes to voice mail, promising to return the call but guess what? They never do and you are forced to just keep on calling… I have already sent complains, but I don’t expect much to happen. One thing for sure - I will change my insurance company. We own 4 cars and home insurance with Allstate. It is my first accident after 5 or 6 years being with Allstate and I am very disappointed.

A few months ago our roof was damaged from last Winter’s hail and winds. I filed a claim on January 15th, 2020. The adjuster only showed up at my house on Jan. 26th. The inspector and my contractor met to review the roof interior and exterior damage. As soon as the inspector got off the roof, she called the Allstate adjuster on the phone and started a flirt-conversation that lasted for about six minutes. After she finally put me on the phone with him, he gave me a 20-second response and said that he will call me back later that evening with an estimate. The inspector hung up the phone and told me, in front of my contractor, that I have a lot of damage from the hail. She then said she was off the rest of the day and would upload the images of the damaged roof. At 5:00PM I got a phone call from the adjuster saying he had not received anything form the inspector and would call me back the following day. On Jan. 27th around 7PM he called again to tell me I did not have any damage at all, so they would not be paying anything. I told him his inspector said to me that I have, in fact, had a lot of damage from hail. In response he just called me a liar. After this unpleasant phone call, I hung up angry and upset. The next day I called my insurance agent on the phone. We reviewed all the photos taken and uploaded by the inspector. The pictures were all blurry and unclear, you could hardly even tell there was a roof in the photos. The agent said he would request another review. On Jan. 31st, around 11AM I received a phone call from a person who said they were the adjuster’s supervisor. He said he was agreeing with the adjuster, even thought the photos were bad. Then he proceeded to say I can’t afford my deductibles. A second Allstate employee to insult a customer… I have been with Allstate for 13 years now for home, car and motorcycle insurance. I can guarantee you it will not be 14. I have already contacted a professional adjustment firm to fight Allstate to honor my insurance policy. It is unfortunate and sad that a long term client, who never filed a claim gets to be treated this way. I strongly suggest that you never consider Allstate for your insurance needs. They have proven to be dishonest.
