The absolute worst Customer Service. They changed our PCP without permission and then not only refused to reinstate it, they blamed me! The Customer Service representatives will not solve the issue and not take the responsibility . This was a VERY SIMPLE issue. They changed the insurance early so that the Doctors from 2022 would not be eligible in 2023. Our appointment is in Dec. 2022....they said our coverage for which we paid through the end of the year, was no longer valid. They said its because the current doctor we have is not going to be accepting the BCBS insurance in 2023 (gee....I wonder why....) . When I informed the representative that they changed the doctor eligibility list a month early, they said, yes, but your doctors not eligible in 2023. I restated the appointment is in December....the response....you guess it, 'your doctor is not eligible in 2023.' .... I swear its like talking to a child. It also is nearly impossible to get through to a person. I had to give my member number over ten times ,had to get hippo authorization for my wife every new representative and I am positive that the call center is over seas and their English is not very good. My advice, look elsewhere. The rates may seem good , but your sanity will be gone after a day of dealing with these incompetent customer service representatives. I am not making these numbers up: Number of calls 17, time spent on phone in total : 2hr:15m, 3hr20min , 45 min. . You can ask till you are blue in the faced they won't put a supervisor on. Two of the reps also hung up on me while leaving me on hold for periods of time.....At this point I am considering filing suit with the Florida medical board as the incompetency is so bad, it took me a full day when I was trying to work from home. I highly recommend looking elsewhere.
