Seems like another insurance nightmare and cop out Definitely did not expect this from a company like Allianz Have been paying home insurance premiums for 20+ years and this is our first claim ever Stay away from Allainz - these are not people you can trust or rely on We are a single income family already doing it tough and now after paying tens of thousands on insurance premium, we now have to fork out over $10k to fix this issue that is clearly stormwater damage

Worst insurance company. Bought insurance for a concert that says cancel for any reason. Thr show iwas rescheduled for one month later for a time I have a booked flight one year ago and can not travel back to the show, they refused to pay me. Never again would I buy from this dishonest company Only want to collect your money and if you have a claim they disappear. Scammer

One star is too much for this insurance. My kids have GN Network, which is among the most expensive. NOTHING was approved for the full year! Literally nothing. We needed to pay each test. Always asking for more clarifications from doctor, and rejected at the end. Stating that kids have chronical issues?! My child has lack of iron. We discovered it during the year. They didn't want to approve testing as lack of iron is chronical condition for a child! At the end we discovered that kid has celiac disease. And we paid test by ourselves. Better to stay away from this company!

This is the most inhumane insurance company I have ever come across. I am now over $15000 in debt to a Greek hospital after suffering a severe car accident. I have a puncture lung and a hematoma the size of a water melon on my hip. I cannot walk and I have had to pay the hospital $8000 not including the car company and all the hotels that are not refunding me for the time I’ve spent in the hospital. They have found a very convenient loop hole so they do not have to help me after the worst car crash I have ever experienced. They have given me nothing and they advertised the adventure pack as something they would provide insurance for. This is inhumane, no empathy and I am completely disgusting with this company and will never associate with any company who associates with them.

Allianz employs Drainage Home Emergency personnel who are poorly informed and trained. Furthermore these "engineers" do not use technology to diagnose the cause and only prepared to use primitive approaches to unblocking drains with power hoses. They communication is deceptive and poor. They even inflict reputational damage on the insured when their knowledge base is short. And Allianz is happy to act on such smearing without seeking 2nd opinions. Allianz did not keep its assurance of up to GBP1000 for an emergency. And it introduced new exclusions not mentioned in their policy documents such as the use of modern technology. Furthermore their complaint manager never replies. Sad to say that my experience of them was like dealing with educated rogues.

Allianz. The biggest insurance company in the world. RUN, don’t walk, from this swindling company of crooks!! This company is a perfect example of bad faith insurance and unfair claims settlement practices, and my family along with all my mom’s friends who know her and have seen how her illness has debilitated her are going to get to the bottom of this. My parents have been paying this scandalous, unethical company for 20 years ..thousands of dollars just so they could have peace of mind and security for when or if they ever really needed help in the future they could get it. Now is the time that they need the coverage they have been paying for and what does this heartless company do? Send a scamming swindler to give an inaccurate misrepresentation and try to justify their crooked attempt to not do what they’ve been being paid years to cover. My mom has had Polymyalgia rheumatica for over two years now. Did their inept one-sided joke of a private investigator they hired come to see her when she couldn’t leave the house for almost a year and was depressed out of her mind? Did he even come yesterday morning to help her out of bed because her husband is now incapacitated coming home from the hospital? NO! But I did! And all my family and her friends are witnesses to the fact that she still needs help every day. Their jerk of a private investigator tries to get his twisted biased sampling footage of her in the afternoon when she’s feeling better. But, he failed to even notice that she had to pass her plate to a friend because she still can’t use her hands to cut her own meat. She hasn’t done so for two years because she can’t! She hasn’t sewn for years because she can’t. She can only sit in a rocking chair at home because she doesn’t have the upper core- arms, hips, and body strength to get out of a regular chair on her own. My dad has faithfully, without complaint, helped her every morning since she came down with this horrible illness to get out of bed take a shower and do basic things that other people can and she can’t do for herself right now and this disease is known for being more debilitating in the morning and easing up usually but not even always in the afternoon. Their one-sided inept joke of a private investigator was sent so that their scandalous company could keep robbing elderly people blind and taking advantage of them capitalizing on all the premiums they’ve collected and hoarded. Increasing rates 100%? Really? Was this a legitimate and ethical across-the-board increase? Or did they unlawfully do this to just my parents? Is their company deciding not to pay my parents because of reverse racism? Are they not wanting to pay now because they’re the wrong color?? This company needs to be investigated for the Fraud they are committing!! Look at all the claims and complaints out there against this company! It’s not just my parents that feel that way. There’s a bus load of people that are making the same claims against this company about how they faithfully paid for years and then when it comes time to receive a little compensation, they send some sneaky, crooked, ignorant biased stalker to get a twisted one-sided view into a window of her day and try to act like it’s a representation of her life. And now, her blood pressure has been rising again because of these crooks. She told me about the shady doctors that she got sent to that need to be investigated! About how this company and its representatives involved don’t examine the real facts. They just try to twist things, so they don’t have to do what they’ve received premiums that have been paid to do so. **Dear Allianz** You people should be ashamed of yourselves! Is this what your company stands for?? Taking people's hard earned money and then when it comes time to do what you promised and are obligated to do you shamelessly find a way to connive and scam them out of basic benefits they are supposed to receive?! You have people out there that actually are committing insurance fraud and then you have my mom who has faithfully paid her premiums for 20 years and now she qualifies for benefits and your scamming fraudulent company and scheming for ways to unethically NOT do what they’re supposed to do (cover per her policy for her ADL’s!) Have your doctors, or your PI ..PERSONALLY seen her being assisted- out of bed, dressing, showering, toileting? REALLY? That’s what her contract was for! I guess that’s how you are the most profitable insurance company in the world. BUYER BEWARE!!!! Allianz is a heartless big corporation that does not care about anything but the money they can collect.

option did not give me choice of LTC. But.... this is an example of how they treat long time customers. NO ETHICS! HORRIBLE ... HORRIBLE COMPANY. We bought a good long term care police early. We were in our early 40's and bought in October 1999. They stopped selling long term care insurance in December 1999. NOW... after all these years of faithfully paying our annual amounts I just received a letter, and they are raising our annual amounts by 300% from the original. REALLY... they are only supposed to be able to raise if it is across the board... A.K.A. everyone.... really... we were in our early 40's how many policies do you really think they have in addition to ours. Let's see.... take your money for years... then raise it so much when there are so few left you want to cancel. Is that ethical? NO... dishonest YES... do NOT trust this company. PERIOD!!! DISHONEST, LIERS AND COMPLETELY HORRIBLE. Will I renew, do not know, wating on answer from Insurance board and attorney general. Do not think what they have doen is legal. CROOKS

Horrible Experience. Will never purchase again. FRUSTRATING PROCESS. They will do everything and apply every little detail to get out of paying the claim. If you purchase, you better follow the small print to the letter. They draw out the claim process for months, asking for the same documentation over and over, hoping you will go away. Spoke with 4 different representatives, told the same story, submitted the same documents over a 3-month period. I had to follow up each time and they kept asking for the same information they already had. I was honest about everything. I got food poisoning and therefore, was vomiting as well as…. Well, you know for 24 hours. I could barely get to the bathroom fast enough, let alone walk through an airport and get on a plane. I rescheduled my flight for the next day and then that flight was cancelled and rescheduled for 2 days later. I was in a foreign country. Understandable that I just wanted to get home. I booked another flight. My claim was denied because I did not go see a Doctor. I could not leave my hotel room let alone get to a doctor in a foreign country. I explained this over and over. I guess I did not have the thought that I better drag myself to a Doctor so that my claim will be approved. My ask was very little, 1 night hotel (around $200) and the difference in the cost of the flight.

Not a company that I'd recommend to anyone I care about.

The application and purchase process was very simple. I had to cancel my trip due to COVID and claim filing was also very easy. Was recommended to use Allianz for my trip to Europe and I am very happy that I listened to his advice! Definitely using them again and firmly recommend them to my family and friends!

Our experience with Allianz claim process for our trip cancellation was excellent. Claim filing was very easy. The rep was very knowledgable and professional and took care of all of our needs promptly. Medical issues of both me and my husband made me use their insurance plan, since on our age, 70+, it comes and goes. We were very positively surprised to find out about their travel disruption. The process is very smooth, FAST and simple. We got a refund extremely fast. Our planned anniversary holiday was cancelled but Allianz was there for us and we are very grateful for that.

I experienced a stroke while visiting my family in Europe. Got evacuated to the hospital in early January 2020. My family got in touch with Allianz to activate the insurance and they took it from there. They covered 90% of the hospital bill! However there's more.. They also sent a nurse to personally escort and assist me. That nurse was by me from the second I left my family house to the moment I came back home to Wisconsin. When we reached the airport, they sent a driver to take us to our home. I can't thank Allianz enough for being there for me when I needed them and cannot rank them high enough!! Highly recommended, obviously!
