Putting our clients first since day one. The year was 1859. An ox and a passenger train collided just outside Johnson Creek, Wisconsin, and two of our policyowners were killed in the wreck. The claims totaled $3,500, which was $1,500 more than our two-year-old company had on hand. Then President Samuel S. Daggett and his fellow trustees personally borrowed the money to settle the claims, proving that our dedication to our clients is as old as the company itself.

I'm with Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance for a few years now. We got cash value and still we had to take a loan in one occasion. Their customer service is not so good when you need them. Still not the worst company overall.

Quite a basic life insurance. It was the one coverage I could afford and it is just enough for me to know that my children will be taken care of in case something happens to me.

How can I recommend Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance? They required me to fill out a form that included my social security number. I filled it out and their customer service rep claimed he couldn't locate it. How about some customer information security? Where is my social security being stored now? How unprofessional!
